COULD GOOGLE'S 'PIXEL 4A' ACTUALLY BE GOOD?

Google.

You really don't know how to make phones, like, at all.

But.

You might have listened.

Hopefully.

Let me explain.

A few days ago, many tech YouTubers and Instagram accounts based around phone leaks, posted and talked about a supposed Pixel 4A leak. Sporting a sleek surrounding bezel, and a small chin, and quite notably, and hole-punch, this leak stirred up quite a few people.

Now.

When the Pixel 3 was first 'Leaked', many renders suggested a hole-punch display, but as time went on, more and more leaks showed an ungodly forehead. While these leaks were wrong, they might have been picking up on the 4A's design. As many renders of an actually good looking google phone starting making its way around the internet, people went crazy.

It's not just the fact that it's good looking, its the fact that this line of google phones is known to differ from its bigger brothers.

Take Pixel 3 for example. The regular Pixel 3 had a symmetrical, round corner, and overall familiar design. On the other hand, the XL had an absolutely massive notch, which was a major turn-off. But then, later in the year, the 3A releases, with a similar design to the regular Pixel 3, but with less rounded corners.

So we now that the A series is known for changing it up a little in the design department for the broke ones out there. So if this leak suggests a new design, for an A series pixel, and it matches with already popular phone designs, then we have ourselves a relatively possible, good looking, Pixel device.

As insane as this sounds, I can see why Google if the leaks are true, might have taken this route. Nobody liked the 3 XL, nobody, it was an ugly devive, end of the conversation. And so we waited a little more than a year, for the highly anticipated Pixel 4, the phone that could quite possibly de-throne the iPhone 11 for 'Best Camera'. And even though we hoped that the leaks of the phone were wrong and that the already public hands-on videos were just hoaxes. But at last, another god-awful Pixel device, coming from the company that flexes about 'aesthetics' every event.

If nobody likes phones, nobody going to buy them. And you have to remember, that most consumers are looking at reviews on the device before buying, and if these people are basking the phone, then again, people will not buy it. So with bad reviews, bad designs, and unhappy customers, where does that leave you financially. In. A. Pit.

So. It's not that hard to believe that Google decided to drop an aesthetically pleasing phone for once. And if they want people to even look their direction, and build trust around having semi-attractive
devices, they should probably keep this up.
