Okay.

I admit I was wrong.

Very wrong.

But.

Hear me out.

The iPhone 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Max were released a few months ago. Since then reviewers have done their thing, and others have torn it apart, literally and metaphorically. I was one of those people who weren't that impressed by the leaks. In fact, I kind of ranted on it in an earlier post, and my opinion stood tall and strong, that is, until the event.

Wow.

Everything the leaks stated was true. 100%.

Ugly camera bump? Check.
Same sized notch? Check.
iOS Update that rolls onto other older models? Check.
Bezels reduced so small that the human eye can't tell? Check.

But it's the best phone of the decade in my book.

How?

Two words.

The.

Cameras.

These things are revolutionary. The best cameras on a smartphone period. But how? Weel just because it has three cameras smacked onto the back, doesn't guarantee a perfect image. Even if it had 100 megapixels, it wouldn't mean that the photos and videos were DSLR quality.

But Appl'es processing and the way the cameras are put together make this the best point and shoot on the market. Yes. You are paying the price for such a good camera, but if you don't need that telephoto than just opt for the $699 iPhone 11, this generation iPhone XR. But if you do then you are also sacrificing the slim bezels and OLED display.

The entire lineup has amazing cameras. All three are 12 megapixels and each lens has a different. You have your standard wide than your telephoto for up-close targets, then your all-new ultra-wide to capture the entire scene.

Pictures are good in all, but creating content on YouTube with just your phone is a big deal right now. These cameras do NOT disappoint. I approve of this 100 %.

With a triple 12MP system strapped to the back, you'd hope you sacrificed the aesthetic for functionality. All 3 can shoot up to 4k 60fps with crispy clear audio. The photos on this thing are amazing too, don't forget cameras have two functionality.

The night mode is just astounding. Now I know that the Google Pixel 4 has a better Night Sight, but this one is relatively spectacular compared to my previous daily driver, bringing out all of the details I can't see while reducing that ugly noise that is now commonly associated with smartphone nighttime shots.

And.

I run a small YouTube channel, and filming with the 11 is a blast. It's very easy to just press record, put it on a tripod, and upload in 4k. As I said in my previous post, I now own the iPhone 11 (6.1in) and I now use it as my daily driver, so if you want a full review from my perspective as an everyday user, then make sure to check it out.

One more thing that a lot of people say when picking out of these new iPhones, is that they don't know which one to get. And it really does depend on what you're doing with your device. If you're really just using it for phone calls and texts and casual gaming or social media, then I would suggest getting the regular 11.

If you like smaller phones and want a really good display, the go with the 5.8in 11 Pro. And if you still want that OLED display but you need it jumbo size than cash out on the 11 Pro Max, you can't go wrong ANY way with this lineup.
